The Director and Producer: Peter Jackson
The Screenwriter: Marcus Trax

The Plot: Two boys who are friends, one with cancer (F.Highmore) and is being treated by doctors in hospital. The other (J.Hutcherson) buys a book to make him feel better from an old second-hand book shop and on sneaking it in to the hospital past the suspicious staff the two boys start to read the book when there is a shaking of the building as if an earthquake and streams of light encapsulate them as nursing staff arrive in the room.

The boys sail through a sky and crash into a witch’s (Voice of M.Pfeiffer) house where she has trapped an ogre (Voice of J.Goodman) as a slave (and eaten his puppy). The boys have to free him using magic and then face down the witch who arrives after hearing the boy’s arrival. The ogre being free defeats the witch now he is ready. They then set off, the ill one being looked after by the ogre who explains where they are – the Land of Nod - when they come across an inn that is deserted bar a young sarcastic wizard (Voice of A.Sandler) dismissed from the kings court and a scared owner. The wizard speaks of the evil princess and how she has subjugated the lands while the king and queen sleep for one thousand years and how the royal family command great magic. The boys decide to go petition this princess, or her parents should she refuse them, to send them home, she can’t be that bad and the ogre promises to take them and the wizard follows but the barman kicks them out.

On their travels they soon come across an elderly knight (Voice of S.Connery) with his ancient horse who is offering his services for pittance, he was once a knight of the king before being dismissed and now he is too old to be of any good. The boys accept his help, at the insistence of the ill boy, and he begins to teach the ill one of the knight’s code of conduct and the skill of the sword.

They travel on they start to come across obstacles such as hunt led by the Princesses Hunting Master, as the witch was an ally of the princess and they get closer the ill boy starts to see visions of a beautiful lady in rags. The knight doesn’t know of this and at the end they find her she is a slave of the princess and using magic and knighthood they defeat the evil princess by trapping her in a shard of glass. They find the maid is really the princess’s younger sister subjugated so she can always look down on her. They awake the king and queen from their slumber and ask to be sent home but the ill boy hesitates and he decides to stays as during his time he has been getting gradually better and better. His friend realises that this is goodbye and takes the magic needed to get home. ‘That is the last time I ever saw my friend, and I know he is happy’. As the boy who bought the book leaves hospital his friend dies whilst asleep and we focus on the book.

Stark’s Comment: Every time we release a pitch from Marcus Trax we are not sure if it may be the last one. Hope not! Anyway, here is an ambitious project. A mix between live action and digitally generated locations and characters. Top budget and top expectations. Personally, I think this is a wonderful epic adventure and a hypnotizing cinematic experience for all audiences. May become a classic.

BOND SCUM

Comedy / Parody

The Cast: Jim Carrey, Sasha Baron Cohen, Mike Myers, Leslie Nielsen, Sean Bean, Tim Allen, Joe Pesci, Jeanine Garofalo. Cameos by Jude Law, Nicole Kidman.

The Director: David Zucker
The Screenwriter: Richard Franzwa

The Plot: Dr. Couldbe (Jim Carrey) wakes up one morning with the perfect plan for world conquest. His first order of business is to find financial backers, so he travels by coach to Libya to meet with Momar Kaddafi (Sacha Baron Cohen). Kaddafi likes the idea but wants to sleep on it and mentioned that some of his drinking buddy’s in Iran might be interested. So Couldbe flies to Tehran and meets with a couple of Imams (Mike Myers & Leslie Nielson) who are looking to invest in a profit turning venture. After another stop in Dublin to meet with an old IRA money man (Sean Bean) who is still receiving cash from Boston to fight the English and doesn’t know what to do with it, Couldbe has the needed money.

His next order of business is building a secret base in an extinct volcano. He hires an architectural firm to design the fortress and has a series of meeting with the head honcho (Tim Allen) about everything he wants in the design, including a pirahna pond, a laser defense system, and a nuclear bomb self destruct mechanism.

Once building begins, Couldbe is accosted by union thugs who bring him to see union head Joe Pesci who demands a bigger cut in order to prevent "mishaps". And Couldbe is also dogged by Federal Labor Department official Jeannine Garofalo who is concerned about dangerous labor conditions.

After the fortress is finished, Couldbe begins hiring employees which causes more headaches and a re-appearance by Joe Pesci who demands that the workers be allowed to unionize. Couldbe also has to deal with his Human Resource Manager Nicole Kidman who makes sure than Couldbe follows all government regulations.

After all of this Couldbe’s fortress is invaded by British Secret Agent Jude Law and he has to use the self destruct in order to escape.

Stark’s Comment: Finally, after successfully experimenting with drama and musicals, Carrey dives directly into comedy in CMP with this parody of Bond’s villains. David Zucker has developed a successful career in CMP with the first ‘Lieutenant USA’ and ‘Q*Bert’. And the cast of American comedians is like a comedy hall of fame. So I think this one has enough appealing elements to become a big comedy hit.

MARY’S DARK SIDE

The Cast: Zach Braff, Kate Hudson, Matthew Perry, Alec Baldwin, Annette Bening, Donald Sutherland

The Director: Zach Braff
The Screenwriter: Steve Connors

The Plot: This is the story of the four craziest days in the life of Kevin (Z. Braff), a nice and hard-working lawyer who is making his way in New York City. His main will is to have his own professional career, far away from his family.

It all begins when Kevin decides to take his girlfriend Mary (K.Hudson), a creative fashion designer, to his family’s mansion in Connecticut for Thanksgiving.

Mary is the girl everyone would love. Sweet, intelligent, educated, classy… She has everything… including a dark side: she cannot drink a single drop of alcohol. If she does, she immediately turns into the wildest shameless girl anyone could imagine. Kevin knows it and also knows that Mary is conscious of that minor problem and never drinks.

So they happily travel to Connecticut to meet the wealthy and hyper-conservative Kevin’s family:
-Colonel Brahms (D.Sutherland): the patriarch of the family. He built up the family’s fortune speculating with real estates all over the nation and then investing in petroleum. Too serious, too strict, everybody is afraid of him.
-Julian Brahms II (A.Baldwin): Colonel’s son and Kevin’s father. He runs now the family business. Also serious and strict, he has two dreams: become the next New Jersey’s Governor and watching his father die at last to be free of him. His wife – Kevin’s mother – died long ago and he never has had any known relationship since then.
-Sarah Brahms (A.Bening): Colonel’s daughter. She had a wild life in the 60’s. Now, after three divorces and feeling frustrated and failed, she lives with her father, who has always looked down on her.

That’s the peculiar family Kevin and Mary will spend the next four days with…

DAY 1

Kevin and Mary arrive at the Brahms’ mansion for dinner. She is a bit nervous but everything goes fine and smoothly. Until something happens… Mary drinks by mistake a sip of Colonel’s brandy and just goes nuts. During the very formal dinner, Mary loses control. A hilarious dialogue takes place where Mary answers in the most senseless and naughty way to any question from Colonel and Julian while Kevin tries to handle the situation the best he can.

After dinner, everyone goes to bed. Mary and Kevin are in separate rooms. Mary, still drunk, decides to surprise Kevin. She goes into his bedroom only dressed with a towel and turns on the light while she drops the towel saying ‘hey, there, soldier, wanna play?’. The only thing is that she is not in Kevin’s bedroom but in Colonel’s bedroom. When Colonel sees Mary naked in front of him, he suffers a heart attack and instantly dies.

Kevin rescues Mary, tries to calm her hysteria attack, takes her to bed and wait until the next morning the maid finds his grandfather dead.

DAY 2

Julian cannot hide his happiness for his father’s dead. He will finally inherit the family business and will have money enough for his political campaign, something the old man never accepted to finance.

First time in the morning, Julian asks Colonel’s lawyer to come to the house with his testament. The lawyer arrives. And, to Mary’s surprise, he is Francis (M.Perry), her ex boyfriend, a brilliant and rich guy with only one problem: he is an obsessive maniac and his main obsession has always been Mary. He is convinced that Mary still loves him and some day will go back with him. When Mary sees him there, she begs him not to tell they know each other to avoid any more problems. Francis tells her he won’t tell if she abandons Kevin and get back together and Mary tells him she will think about it just to keep him quiet.

Colonel’s last will is read… and to Julian’s surprise, he appoints his daughter Sarah as the new president of the family business while Julian will only stay as General Manager as long as he does not spend a single cent in his political career.

Mad, Julian decides he has to murder his sister as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Kevin and Mary go to the funeral house to prepare Colonel’s funeral. Mary feels so guilty for what has happened that she suffers a slight faint when she sees Colonel’s body being made up at his coffin. The funeral house manager attends her and gives her a sip of liquor to wake her up without her or Kevin noticing it.

Again out of control, Mary gets lost at the funeral house. Drunk, she falls into a coffin. Nobody notices it. The coffin is closed and she is taken to the cemetery to be buried. Kevin is looking for her and he finally realizes what has happened. So he has to run to the cemetery, interrupt a funeral and rescue her from the coffin.

During that night, there is a lot of movement in the Brahms’ house. Francis, who is staying there, enters into Mary’s bedroom trying to seduce her. Kevin enters too a minute later, so Mary begs Francis to hide in the balcony. From there, Francis witnesses how Julian is putting some pills into a whisky bottle in Sarah’s bedroom. After that, he falls from the balcony.

DAY 3

Family reunion. Francis reads Colonel’s testament. And Sarah discovers there that she is the new president of the family company. After years being despised by her brother Julian, now she is his boss… The quiet and sad Sarah instantly mutates into an evil and vindictive eagle.

Francis has taken the bottle of whisky from Sarah’s bedroom. He faces Julian and tells him to drink from it. Julian rejects it and confesses that he has put poison in it to kill Sarah who uses to drink whisky before sleep. Francis blackmails Julian: he won’t tell anything about it if Julian forbids Kevin to marry Mary.

Mary, so stressed after all the events, including almost being buried, decides to spend the day horse riding with Kevin in a close forest. But Francis asks them to go with them and Kevin accepts. Francis challenges Kevin to see who is faster with the horses. Trying to impress Mary, Kevin accepts. Mary is left alone. While she waits, she is surprisingly attacked by a wild boar. She shouts for help. Kevin and Francis return and they have to face the wild boar in a hilarious situation, trying both to become Mary’s saviour. During this situation, Francis tells Kevin he was the previous Mary’s boyfriend.

Kevin gets so mad with Mary cause she didn’t tell him.

The day ends with everyone in their bedrooms spying each other so nobody can get out of their rooms without being seen.

DAY 4

Colonel’s funeral.
At the church, everyone is mad with each other. Julian’s speech turns into an attack to Sarah full of irony. So Sarah decides to reply and pretending to tell funny stories from the past, she publicly reveals how much his father worried when he realized how much her brother liked to dress up with her clothes when he was younger. Then Julian returns to the altar to tell how much his father loved to see Sarah returning home to overcome her last broken relationship or her last addiction in the 60s. The audience is so shocked and embarrassed.

Later, there is a reception at Brahm’s home. Francis tries to kiss Mary in the kitchen. As she tries to avoid his kiss both fall out from the kitchen’s door embraced. Kevin sees that and, so jealous, gets mad with Mary. Julian uses that to say publicly that he will never accept a marriage between Kevin and Mary. Mary runs away so hurt. She hides in Sarah’s bedroom to cry. She sees there the poisoned bottle of whisky and, so mad, takes a drink.

When she returns to the reception, Sarah is publicly announcing that Julian is fired from the family company. Mary, completely drunk, interrupts her to confess everyone why Colonel died. Francis interrupts Mary to ask her if she will marry him now that Kevin’s family hates her. Julian interrupts Francis to announce everyone that, now that his political and professional career is ruined, he can publicly say he is gay. Kevin interrupts his father to punch Francis. And Mary interrupts them all to ask why the whisky she has drunk tasted so strange.

Francis realizes she has drunk the poisoned whisky. He tells how he saw Julian poisoning it. When Sarah hears, she punches Julian.

Francis and Kevin decide not fighting anymore and taking Mary to the hospital. There, Mary is so hilariously out of control and the whole thing is a mess but she is finally saved after doctors wash her stomach.

At the end, Julian is arrested for attempting murdering his sister. Kevin and Mary reconcile. And Francis meets a nurse at the hospital that becomes his new love obsession and forgets about Mary. A few days later, Sarah, the ex hippy, appears with the most glamorous look in the cover of Forbes magazine and Kevin and Mary marry and celebrate it with a non-alcohol party.

Stark’s Comment: A nice comedy for all audiences. Connors loves to jump from sci-fi to comedy. The main appeal of this movie is its cast, reuniting big names in CMP. May not be a blockbuster, but I feel it can work decently in box office.

THE FLASH: There are rumours about casting problems in this production. It was already known that Dawson Edwards wanted big stars playing minor roles and the chosen ones rejected the proposal, so all the cast of the movie had to be urgently redefined. Now, it is said that there are also some problems to find the talents to play the main roles. Anyway, it is already guaranteed that The Flash / Joshua Jackson’s love interest will be played by Isla Ficher (‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’, ‘Super Bowl’). Other stars already cast are the main villain, played by Liam Neeson (‘The Bridge’, ‘Planetside’, ‘The Legend Of Zelda’), and also will be seen Simon Baker and Derek Luke, who already appeared in the previous Edwards’ pitch, ‘The Killing Run’.

HAIGHT-ASHBURY: More stars making an appearance in this movie playing iconic characters from the 60’s: Rob Brown will be the first CMP’s Jimi Hendrix (as there is another production with Hendrix in it coming up from the Studio in the future), Lelee Sobieski (‘The Story Of Me’) will be Janis Joplin (after Drew Barrymore played a character inspired by Joplin in ‘Piece Of My Heart’), and no other than Ellen Page (‘Blood Beach’, ‘When Dreams Die’, ‘Journey Into Darkness’) will be Grace Slick.

DARE TO BE PERFECT: Greg Kinnear and Laura Linney will not only be the parents of Abigail Breslin in this dark comedy. They will have another two kids: Emile Hirsh, also seen in ‘Blood Beach’ and ‘When Dreams Die’, and Chase Ellison, making his debut in CMP. And the eccentric grandfather of this family will be Dustin Hoffman, returning at last at CMP after his acclaimed work in ‘The Toymaker’.

MAGIC – THE GATHERING: SINISTER BLACK: Expansion of the complex title of this big fantasy production based on the popular Magic cards game. And a star to play the main hero of the epic story: Jude Law, who will be seen this week making a cameo as a bond-esque character in ‘Bond Scum’.

FLASHMAN’S TRAVELS: Geoffrey Rush, seen in ‘Dark Omens – Fear the Darkness 3’ returns to CMP and to pirates’ world after his work in ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’, playing a british business man with love interest in Catherine Z. Jones. Kerry Condon, playing again Flashman’s wife, completes the cast.

SHERLOCK HOLMES: Green light to CMP’s version of the legendary british detective (right before other Hollywood’s Studios release their ongoing productions based on the same character). This one promises to be a more than appealing revisitation and redefinition of the classic: no other than the visionary Tim Burton (‘Captain America vs Superman’, ‘Captain America: Destiny’, ‘One Man’s Hell’) is going to direct and produce it. And he will work with his fetish actor here for the first time in CMP: yes, Mr. Johnny Depp himself will be Sherlock Holmes. Looks more than appealing.

BEDTIME STORIES: A long list of talents will show up in the three episodes of this horror movie. Some of them will be Ryan Simpkins, Taylor Dooley (‘Welcome To Summer Camp’, ‘Darkman: Resurrection’), William Moseley (‘Daisy Lane’ and the Dark Tower’s movies), Alan Arkin (‘Bullet Witch’), GMA Winner Ivana Baquero (‘Blink’) and Alan Rickman, not seen in CMP since the third movie of the Uncommon Valour saga.

THE DEAD WALK: Did you think that zombies were gone from CMP since the Syndrome trilogy finished? Well, you were wrong. Josh Collins (yes, Mr. Drama) surprises everyone with this new zombies project: a movie shot with hand held camera in the line of ‘Cloverfield’ or ‘Blair Witch Project’. At least, that’s something new in CMP. The director handling the camera will be Eli Roth, just finished the shootage of his episode for ‘Bedtime Stories’.

SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT: And here is the third horror story in development. More names for its cast: Robert Carradine, Bill Mosely (not William), Adam Baldwin (yes, Mr. Captain America in The Avengers movies), Jimmy Bennett (‘Babes In Toyland’, ‘A Man Called Dan’), playing the young Jake Gyllenhaal, and William Forsythe.

KILLER ON THE ROAD: New pitch from Josh Collins. A serial killer picture based on one of the first novels written by James Ellroy. Mark Wahlberg (‘Darkman: Resurrection’, ‘The Running Man’) gets into business here not only playing one of the main characters of the story – not the serial killer himself – but also producing the movie. David Ayer, director of movies like ‘S.W.A.T.’ or ‘Training Day’, debuts in CMP with this project.

MARY’S DARK SIDE
By Steve Connors

The idea of this movie came to me watching on TV the 80s comedy ‘Blind Date’. I liked the premise: a nice woman that loses control as soon as she drinks a single drop of alcohol. So I decided to retake that premise in a completely different story.

Re-reading my own screenplay I realize now that the movie puts together ‘Blind Date’ with some elements from ‘Meet the parents’. That’s okay. I wanted to write a wild comedy full of gags. No matter if some situations may look a bit similar to something previously seen.

The main challenge was finding the right Mary. She is the centre of it all and she had to be so funny. Kate Hudson is. I considered Anne Hathaway first but I think Hudson is the perfect choice and kept Hathaway for another upcoming comedy. And after all the drama in ‘Velcro’ it may be refreshing to see her in a silly comedy like this.

Zach Braff was in my mind from the very first moment. I have been looking for the right story to work with him after watching all his great movies for CMP, specially ‘Contract killing for dummies’ and ‘Schroedinger’s litterbox’. He also directs the movie as he did with Contract killing… He is a talented moviemaker and comedian so I have felt very comfortable with him.

Same goes for Matthew Perry. There used to be CMP comedies with him in the past and they worked pretty well so I wanted to resurrect him here. He can play so well his neurotic obsessive character.

As you can see, I have deliberately set up a CMP-stars-based cast. Stars from previous movies from the Studio that worked.

I have not written a comedy since ‘Black Guys’ so I am happy to return to comedy after a few sci-fi stories. It is difficult to express the situations you imagine but at the same time it is relaxing just creating funny situations.

Enjoy it.

THE DARK TOWER
By Roy Winslow

The amazing success of Sam Raimi’s ‘The Dark Tower: The Drawing Of The Three’, second installment of the movies saga written by Matt Kubrick and based on Stephen King’s book has taken everyone by surprise at CMP. To know a bit more about this epic mystery story, we take a look this week – avoiding spoilers – at some key facts of it.

THE ORIGINAL MATERIAL: The Dark Tower is a series of seven books written by American author Stephen King between 1970 and 2004. The series incorporates themes from multiple genres, including fantasy fiction, science fantasy, horror and western elements. They describe a gunslinger's quest toward a tower whose nature the books call both physical and metaphorical. King has described the series as his magnum opus; besides the seven novels that compose the series proper, many of his other books relate to the story, introducing concepts and characters that come into play as the series progresses.

The series was chiefly inspired by the poem "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came" by Robert Browning,. King also identifies The Lord of the Rings, the Arthurian Legend, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly as inspirations. He identifies Clint Eastwood's "Man with No Name" character as one of the major inspirations for the protagonist, Roland Deschain. King's style of location names in the series, such as Mid-World, and his development of a unique language abstract to our own, are also influenced by J.R.R. Tolkien's work.

THE GUNSLINGER: The first movie of the saga, ‘The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger’ was released in Season 7. Matt Kubrick is the author of the screenplay and Sam Raimi made his debut in CMP directing the movie. The cast included GMA Winner Russell Crowe as Roland, GMA Winner Sharon Stone as the woman he fell in love with, GMA Winner Christopher Lee as the mysterious man in black that chases Roland and William Moseley as a young boy that travels with Roland. The movie made a box office of 79 millions and net gains of 87 millions. It won the GMA for Best Production Design. Clint Eastwood was considered to play the man in black but he rejected the offer.

THE DRAWING OF THE THREE: The second movie of the saga has reached an outstanding box office of 285 millions and has generated net gains for 349 millions. The movie has become alltimes box office top 2 and alltimes net gains top 1. This second movie is developed in three different episodes that introduce the characters that will accompany Roland in his search for the dark tower. The cast includes GMA Nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, GMA Nominee Angela Bassett, Ray Winstone, Chazz Palminteri and a cameo by William Moseley. Daniel Craig refused the offer to play the character finally played by Ray Winstone.

PRODUCTION’S INSIDES: CMP has never really considered this saga as one of its major bets, at least until now. The Studio approved a medium budget for both movies not willing to risk too much money in what was considered by CMP’s Executive Board as an uncertain investment. In fact, when presenting the second movie, Harry Stark commented at this blog that he didn’t expect it to be a blockbuster at all, although he liked the saga so much he would keep producing episodes no matter box office’s results. Everybody at CMP has admitted that the outstanding box office breakdown of the second movie has taken everyone by surprise.

THE FUTURE: The two first movies respond to the storylines of the first two books. Matt Kubrick has recently confirmed he plans to develop the whole story, so another five movies based on the books may be expected.

SPECIAL ARTICLE
Lyra's Soundtrack

Some movies survive one way or another to the short time period they stay on movie theatres. That’s the case of Josh Collins’ acclaimed dramedy about a teen lesbian ‘Lyra’ starred by Jena Malone. The movie made a very nice box office. It was also a GMA favourite reaching 7 nominations, becoming together with ‘Pompeii’ the most nominated production ever. And, a few months later, its soundtrack is still a best selling album. More than that, the Lyra’s play-list on youtube has become a hit itself with thousands of visitors. And now you can be one of them:

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_lis...C72488E8C8B4D9

‘Mary’s Dark Side’ is a funny comedy coming up this week. In it, Kate Hudson plays a sweet woman that loses control any time she sips a drop of alcohol. Zach Braff directs the movie and plays her patient boyfriend while Matthew Perry plays her neurotic ex boyfriend. To talk about the movie, Kate Hudson and Zach Braff visited Jay Leno’s set.

Josh Collins has decided to follow the steps of Matt Kubrick and create his own independent production company associated to CMP. ‘Grand Island Movies’ will develop from now on the indie projects from Collins (you know, those dramas where every character suffers to extremes and then stars go and pick up their GMA for it). This is the third independent production company created in CMP’s universe after Marcus Trax’s Trax Star Pictures – now out of sight – and Matt Kubrick’s Midnight Movies. And that means that Collins will have more freedom now to develop his own ideas combining mainstream big productions with those low budget acclaimed movies that have become his trademark. Adult audiences may celebrate somebody remembers them in the middle of this superheroes fever.

And talking about production companies… It seems like after a shy beginning Midnight Movies has finally reached full speed. ‘Reform School Girls’, ‘Silent Night, Deadly Night’ and ‘Bedtime Stories’ won’t be the only releases coming up from this ‘freak factory’… oops, sorry, I mean this ‘production company’ during Season 9. It looks like the nice profits that has made Kubrick’s ‘The Dark Tower: The Drawing Of The Three’ allows Harry Stark to keep losing a few bucks with Kubrick’s horror and exploitation fantasies.

But let’s forget about business and let’s talk about movies. This week, I have selected a few rumours to write a special ‘coming ups' article to take a look at what we may expect in the near future from CMP…

And you would never guess what I’ve heard that might be coming up… yes, believe it or not, another comic adaptation! Megan Fox, an uprising star lately in CMP after her minor but impressive work in ‘The Sex Monster’ and her introduction in the Wild Cards franchise in ‘Wild Cards: Double Solitaire’, could play a most peculiar comic character in an upcoming pitch from Steve Connors: no other than the sexy Vampirella (and now you are supposed to clap and shout ‘hooray!’). Personally, I’m only interested in seeing Megan dressing Vampirella’s outfits…

If the previous rumour wasn’t thrilling enough, here comes another one that we’ll make you fall from your seats. Internal CMP’s sources confirm me that Harry Stark is trying to convince Brendan Fraser to star… (drumroll here, please)… a fourth T.Y.M. movie! Yes, our worst fears may come true. If Fraser finally accepts, I am afraid that nothing will save us from another adventure of the evil hunters team.

Oh, I almost forgot… Just in case you don’t have enough vampiress with Vampirella, the once serious author – and now another victim of comicmania, the most common illness in CMP –, Mr. Richard Franzwa, has announced another project with a vampiress involved: the adaptation of the Sonja Blue stories. David Fincher, once a serious director too, seems to be interested in directing it. But the most scary part of all this is the name heard to be playing the character: Lindsay Lohan! Scary enough.

At least I have one appealing rumour… Steve Connors is looking for an appropriate plot to develop a third episode of the Robots Chronicles after the acclaimed ‘The Caves Of Steel’ and ‘The Naked Sun’. He doesn’t want to base the third movie on the third adventure of the starring couple (played by the human Willis and the humanoid Bettany, latest winners of the GMA for Best Starring Couple) written by Isaac Asimov. Connors thinks that ‘Robots of the Dawn’ has a storyline too similar to Will Smith’s blockbuster ‘I, Robot’. So he is now considering the option of writing a completely new story for the characters.

And I finish with another Christmas present from Harry Stark to Matt Kubrick. Although ‘Reform School Girls’ didn’t work at box office, CMP’s President enjoyed it so much – you, naughty boy… - that he has expressed Kubrick his will of making a sequel of the movie. There is no storyline for it yet, but whatever happens with the girls in the future I’m sure there will be nudity and kung fu involved.

That’s all in this ‘Coming Up’ Special. But I want to leave you this week with a light of hope: all these are only rumours and some of them may never become a reality…
