AQUAMAN

Action / Superhero

The Cast: Paul Walker, Emily Deschanel, Timothy Oliphant, Sean Bean, Dominic West, Sean Patrick Thomas, Robert Forster, Alberta Watson. Voice of Laurence Fishburne

The Director: David Yates
The Screenwriter: Dawson Edwards

The Plot: Deep beneath the oceans lies another world that is far beyond anything we could possibly imagine. Located thousands of feet below the Bermuda Triangle is that world, that world is the highly advanced city of Atlantis. While the storm above sea level is bad, but it is nothing like the war raging on below. Atlan (S.Bean), the King of Atlantis, and his troops are fighting a long war against the rebellion of Kordax (T.Olyphant).

Two years past, and the war is finally over. Atlan has won and Kordax has seemingly been vanquished by Poseidon (voice of L.Fishburne) himself. Who laid upon the Curse of Kordax, which bans Kordax from Atlantis as long as the son of Atlan is further. So, Atlanna (A.Watson), mother of Orm (D.West) Marius and the younger Orin vows to never leave her boy, and sets off for land with Orin.

Atlanna eventually finds a fisherman by the name of Tom Curry (R.Forster) and together they raise Orin to be Arthur (P.Walker). As years go by the young boy begins to showcase weird aquatic powers due to his original heritage. His parents refuse to acknowledge his past until the time is right.

Beneath the sea, Atlan has been poisoned, secretly by his own son, Orm who looks to take the throne of Atlantis. But in his last few days, Atlan orders the return of Orin, his second son back to his first home to replace him as King. Orm is not the only one outraged at this request, the people of Atlantis know that with the return of Orin will be the return of Kordax.

A dolphin summons the now older Orin who is still adjusting to his new found abilities. Arthur refuses to return, that is until his adoptive father Tom dies. Arthur won't let two fathers die in vain, so he returns to Atlantis to become King.

As Arthur and his mother ride the dolphins back towards the Bermuda, in the distance lays a ship with three men aboard. Two of those men are setting up for major drilling to be done. The other is black (S.P.Thomas) but never shows his face, is watching the mantas closer to shore..Aquaman? He says as the two dolphins catch his attention.

Orin is met with tons of hostility, especially from Orm, his somewhat half-brother.The brothers have a quick duel with swords before the beautiful Princess Mera (E.Deschanel) breaks it up. Mera tells Orin that she's heard so many stories about the "land dweller" and how terrible it must be for him to be away.He reassures her that while the people above aren't the most friendly of people, there is nothing like a pizza with anchovies. The two share a kiss that very same night among there playful flirting, furthering Orms hatred.

While Atlan teaches Orin how to be King by day even showing him the golden Sword of Atlantis(aka a trident), a dark figure is reborn by night. Kordax is headed for Atlantis once again, and he isn't alone. Along with him are the thousands of soldiers that escaped with their lives during the war and they have been just as rejuvenated as he. The very day that Atlan passes, the gates to Atlantis are stormed. The weather above sea level is ridiculous and the creatures below are in a state of panic. Not to mention the citizens of Atlantis, most of whom are now being thrust into war all because of Orin's return.

As soon as Kordax enters the gates, all hell breaks loose. While Kordax searches to kill Orin and take his place at the throne, Orm joins him slaying his own people. Yelling "I am the Ocean Master. And you will bow to me!" Orm finds Orin before Kordax and they battle, fist to fist. After an amazing fight sequence, which lands Orm unconscious in front of the throne,Orin is then stabbed in the back by Kordax. Kordax expresses how he's waited so long for this very day, and how no other can compare to his greatness. He offers Orin the chance to live if he simply relinquishes the throne to him. Of course Orin refuses, and instead of giving up the throne he telepathically tells a nearby hammerhead shark to ram that very chair in the back on Kordax sending him flying towards Orin's fist.

The battle continues on below them, with thousands dying on each side. Orin can't stand to watch any more people die for his return and decides to do the unthinkable...He takes the Sword of Atlantis and sends it straight towards Kordax, piercing the water like knife through paper...killing him almost instantly. His body slowly fades away, as the voice of Poseidon booms from above.."King Orin. You have destroyed the curse, at the price of your kingdom. How will you proceed?"

Arthur looks over his shoulder at the many of soldiers behind him, then to his love Mera, and grabs the trident and says I will protect. I will protect all. Atlantis will rise again!

It's one year later, but we don't see Atlantis,we are above sea level on a beach where we see a giant tidal wave headed for the shore. The camera cuts to a nearby Pizza Hut, showing Arthur eating a pizza with little fish. He's grown a bit of a beard too. He takes off his jacket revealing an orange seaweed designed shirt. Rushing past the screaming people, he jumps off the pier, saying "I love my job" just before diving head first into the wave.

Stark’s Comment: Yes, I know what you are all thinking: oh, no, here is the weekly CMP’s superhero flick… Well, sign of the times. Superhero movies keep being demanded by audiences. Edwards, also author of ‘The Flash’, is behind this production, the movie version of a minor comic hero. The fantasy elements and the underwater world make the difference from other superheroes movies and may be reason enough to seduce audiences. This is not the regular hero making heroic things in an urban world. It is more a fantasy adventure with a suggestive production design orchestrated by the talented David Yates.

DEEP SILENCE 2: RED CODE HIGH

Action / Sci-Fi

The Cast:
Jessica Alba, Ryan Reynolds, Jim Caviezel, Eric Balfour, Clea Duvall

The Director: Renny Harlin
The Screenwriter: Joey Stark

The Plot: It’s been two years since the strange events that took place in ‘Deep Silence’. Julia (J.Alba) is now working as a diving instructor for the Navy when she is contacted by the US Government. She is told that something strange has happened in a US Nuclear Submarine. It seems to have collapsed down in the ocean and no sign of life comes from it. She is offered to lead a rescue team to go down, get into the submarine and try to take it to the surface. Alba accepts.

The rescue team are Julia and four Navy officers: John (R.Reynolds), Walker (J.Caviezel), Allison (C.Duvall) and Jason (E.Balfour). Julia trains them in deep diving before leaving to the Pacific. During the training process, Julia notices there’s something strange in Walker.

Finally, the team is taken to the point in the ocean where the submarine is. They go down in a little submarine and then dive to get into the Nuclear Submarine. And soon horror begins…

The amphibian creatures Julia already met in ‘Deep Silence’ are in the Submarine and attack them. Jason is killed. Julia suspects people from the Government knew the creatures were there and Walker has something to do with that. She demands Walker to tell her the truth about their mission. And Walker confesses: yes, they suspected the creatures had taken control of the Submarine. The Government wanted Julia in the mission as she had experience dealing with the creatures. The task of the mission is to capture one of them alive so it can be studied to determine its origin. Julia feels cheated and gets mad with Walker.

But there’s no time for discussions. The Submarine is full of creatures and they have to run away from them. Allison is the next to die. In a claustrophobic situation, Julia, John and Walker try to get out of the submarine. Walker still thinks he can capture one of the creatures. When John is attacked by one of them, Walker prefers trying to capture it than saving John. But Julia kills the creature and saves John. Then she demands Walker to tell her all he knows: Walker admits that the creatures are mutations of humans due to a secret chemical weapon based on underwater plants the US Government has been experimenting with. Even after the disaster took place in the underwater station in ‘Deep Silence’, the Government went on with the experiments and now it was the people at the Submarine who have mutated due to the contact with a strange seaweed.

John – who didn’t know Walker’s plan - agrees with Julia that they have to blow up the submarine to kill the creatures. John activates a nuclear missile to blow up the Submarine.

Julia, John and Walker get to escape from the Submarine. But the creatures chase them when diving to reach the little submarine they came with. There is an underwater fight with the creatures. Walker and John are wounded and both lose their diving masks. Julia has to choose and she chooses to help John. So she and John reach the submarine while Walker is left behind.

Julia and John reach the surface. A helicopter rescues them and, as they fly away, they see the explosion of the Submarine.

Stark’s Comment: ‘Deep Silence’ was released back in Season 1, directed by James Cameron and written by Tom Figgs. It worked very nicely in box office. Sadly, Figgs disappeared from CMP after writing only a couple of movies (the erotic thriller ‘Dark’ was the other one). But I always wanted to make a sequel of ‘Deep Silence’. I liked the concept of strange mutant underwater creatures attacking humans in a claustrophobic scenario. And nine Seasons later, here it is at last. My brother Joey accepted to write the story and I think we’ve got a nice entertaining show: an underwater horror adventure without more intentions that keeping you all at the edge of your seats.

BORGEL

Sci-Fi / Comedy

The Cast: Dustin Hoffman, Spencer Breslin, Alan Arkin, Jack Black, Edward Asner. Voices of Bill Murray, Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell.

The Director: Terry Gilliam
The Screenwriter: Ben Tyler

The Plot: The story is told from the point of view of a young boy named Melvin (Spencer Breslin). Borgel (Dustin Hoffman) shows up one day at the house where Melvin and his family live, claiming to be somehow related to the family, although no one (apparently not even Borgel himself) is entirely sure how. He stays with the family for a few years, mainly staying in his room (which the other occupants can only enter by invitation, and then only if they wear a tie).

Borgel is eccentric, to say the least, but in time he befriends Melvin. Melvin often goes to a local cafe with Borgel where Borgel often talks in a strange, highly guttual language with other patrons (usually about the "Old Country" where he grew up). One night Borgel invites Melvin to go for a walk with him and the family dog, Fafner. Borgel ends up using a wire hanger to break into a car.

At first, Melvin is afraid to say anything, as he is afraid that Borgel has stolen the car and that it belongs to someone else. However, Borgel informs him that it is his car - he just lost the keys to it.

As they are traveling along the highway Borgel tells Melvin about traveling though time, space, and the other. He explains that he is a time tourist - traveling through the whole of history and all over the universe at leisure. Specifically, he says, he travels through "time, space, and the other." The sedan they are driving is actually a first-rate time-space-and-the-other machine. Melvin thinks Borgel has gone crazy but soon they are traveling on a glowing astral highway in space. Melvin notes that he can see through his own hand. He is terrified and demands to know what's going on.

Borgel calmly explains the reality of travel through time, space, and the other. He says that time is like a map of New Jersey, and that space is like an elliptical bagel with poppy seeds, while the other is like a tossed salad with only one ingredient you like in it. He gives detailed, highly humorous explanations of why this is. After speeding to twice the speed of light to escape an energy monster, Borgel decides to stop for root beer. Fafner (voice of Bill Murray) gets out of the car, and reveals that he can now speak (a trait that all dogs travelling through time, space, and the other share). Fafner repeatedly criticizes Melvin and everything Melvin does.

They order their drinks from a hideous-looking anthropoid bloboform (voice of Seth Rogen). But as they are returning to their car, Borgel suddenly vanishes in a flash of light. The bloboform explains that Borgel has been subjected to a prank teleportation - he could be anywhere. After a few days of subsisting on bad root beer floats, Melvin finds the keys to the car and hit the road on the way to the Big City, which they believe to be the best place to go, given a lack of other options.

Meanwhile, it turns out that Borgel is in the Old Country (where he runs into his father [Alan Arkin], who is less than happy to see him). He is able to find a squashed skunk pelt (a very valuable commodity in the old country). He decides to go to the Big City in order to sell it. On his way there, he is picked up by Melvin and Fafner.

After selling the skunk pelt, he trio end up meeting a strange person called Freddie Nfbnm* (Jack Black). Freddie Nfbnm* persuades the group to search for the Great Popsicle, said to be one of the 26 most powerful living beings in the universe. In order to find it, however, they will need to consult the late genius Evil Toad (voice of Will Ferrell), who currently exists as a computer program located in a tourist trap run by his weak-minded and less talented son, Hapless Toad (also voiced by Ferrell). After a great deal of questioning the unwilling construct, the statue finally caves. In order to find the Great Popsicle, they will need to drive through one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of time, space, and the other - Hell (which looks a lot like a typical tourist trap in New Jersey - full of restaurants, hotels, and stores). They follow the many large billboards and advertisements until they get to their destination.

They go to an island in space with Glugo (Edward Asner), an ape they meet in the suburbs of Hell who agrees to help them find the Great Popsicle. Glugo warns the group that Freddie is a Grivnizoid -- a large and viscous species capable of disguising itself, in this case as a normal person. The popsicle is seen frolicking peacefully in the fields and he is surrounded by a feeling of love that rubs off on all others who see the popsicle. In an attempt to gain the power of the popsicle, Freddie eats it (confirming that he is, in fact, a Grivnizoid). Instead of gaining fearsome powers, however, he becomes like the popsicle and begins skipping around the island. The original trio leaves and returns to Earth. They arrive at the same time they left (since they had traveled through time), and Melvin's stupid parents are none the wiser.

Stark’s Comment: Ben Tyler returns with a most original concept. This adaptation of a novel by Daniel Pinkwater is something different from anything previously produced by CMP. The daring visual power of Gilliam and the originality of the storyline, together with an allstar cast of voices and talents, makes it a very appealing release. I hope it finds its audience, although I’m not sure if that will be children or adults.

PREACHER 2: The cast of this one includes a surprise recently revealed: no other than Merryl Streep has accepted to play the evil grandma of the Preacher. Streep – who loves to accept risky proposals - will play, under a strong make up characterization, the murderer and crazed relative of James Marsden. Other names in the cast are Brad Dourif (‘The Dead Walk’), Ray Winstone (‘The Dark Tower: The Drawing Of The Three’) and Yaphet Kotto.

TRACKS OF BLOOD: Would you have ever imagined that the freakiest Z-series CMP’s movie, ‘Reform School Girls’, would ever had a sequel? Well, it does. Joey Stark enjoyed so much the movie that asked Matt Kubrick if he would let him write a sequel. And this is it. Quentin Tarantino will produce again the sequel under the label of Midnight Movies. And his good friend Robert Rodriguez, another declared fan of the original movie, will direct it, returning to CMP after the disappointment of ‘Lobo’s Back’. Only Eliza Dushku is expected to return from the original cast. Stark has described this sequel as ‘a bloody road movie even more violent and sexy than the first one’.

BULLET WITCH 0:
Another sequel greenlighted for Season 11. David Makalaster is again the author of the screenplay. In fact, the story is a prequel of the original movie (that made 95 millions in box office). It will focus on the character played by Eric Bana. Hillary Swank, lead star of ‘Bullet Witch’, is confirmed not to be returning in this one. The director of the movie is still unknown as McG, director of the first movie, has not been mentioned by CMP to be taking care of this one.

FOUL KARMA: This peculiar low budget thriller produced by Midnight Movies and directed by Matt Kubrick only has two characters. The story focuses on a violent duel between a burglar and a security guard. And the burglar is going to be played by Matt Damon. This will be the second Damon’s work in Season 10 as he has already succeeded this Season with ‘Devil Trigger’.

HUMAN AXIS: David Makalaster’s sci-fi drama being directed by Christopher Nolan will not only have human but also alien characters. And the voices for the aliens creatures will be played by Donald Sutherland, seen past Season in the successful comedy ‘Mary’s Dark Side’, and Rebecca Romijn, not seen in CMP since the flopped ‘Ace Banner 2’.

UNITED I STAND: Right after his recent work in the epic ‘Stanley & Livingstone’, Gael Garcia Bernal returns for his second work for CMP in this dramedy. Also to be seen in the movie, Luis Guzman joins the cast in his debut in CMP.

DEADLY FORCE: ‘Hot Iron’ was a cops movie that surprisingly flopped tremendously in box office (it only made 9 millions). But the movie won the Most Wanted Sequel GMA so the Studio accepted to develop a sequel. That sequel was ‘The Law’ and it worked much better in box office, making 68 millions. Both movies were directed by Christopher Nolan, starred by Brad Pitt and written by Jack Hammer. Hammer retired later from CMP but he always had in mind a third movie based on Pitt’s character. And here it is at last. Hammer, the prestigious author of CMP’s legendary sagas like Uncommon Valour, The Last Lawman and The Great War Series, returns to the Studio after so long to complete this trilogy.

SHOTGUN JOE: Eva Mendes will co-star with Kurt Russell this Rob Zombie’s action movie. Mendes has been previously seen this Season in the successful Spike Lee’s movie ‘Fallen Kings’. Mendes plays here a police officer that pairs up with Russell in a vindictive mission.

CHECK, PLEASE: The list of people having bad dates with either Paul Rudd or Drew Barrymore keeps growing. More names to add to the list are three debutantes in CMP: DJ Qualls, Jason Lee and Kirsten Bell. The comedy, written by Josh Collins, is being directed by Jay Roach.

KINGDOM: Now it’s official. Zack Snyder, director of ‘Preacher’ and ‘Wild Cards: Battle Of The Rox’, will direct this epic fantasy production written by Matt Kubrick. Both have begun to put up together the cast but no name has been made public yet.

BEN TYLER – ‘BORGEL’

New section in this CMP’s blog. Each week, our movie critic Anne Roman will ask five questions to a CMP’s author releasing a movie. This way, screenwriters will have a chance to tell us more things about their upcoming release or any other thing related to their CMP’s career.

We begin the section with Ben Tyler, the screenwriter specially known by his awarded comedy ‘Schroedinger’s Litterbox’ or the short stories production ‘Tales Of The Unexpected’.

1.What did you see in the novel to make you want to adapt it to the big screen?

Well, I saw a great book - a quirky adventure that's a lot of fun for just about everybody. It mentions Hell, which might bother a few uptight people. But hey, the Looney Tunes have done it more than once, and the subject clearly isn't taken too seriously. I really thought this movie would be a refreshing twist on the family fantasy genre that's been so popular lately. I envisioned an off-the-wall movie, with the sort of weirdness that anyone can enjoy - pure whimsy.

2.Terry Gilliam is such a peculiar director. Why did you choose him?

Because I think he's a great visionary with a flair for the fantastic. Unusual films require men of unusual vision. And Gilliam has proven himself as an auteur time and time again. I want this to be a very free-spirited film, and I know that Gilliam has that sort of spirit.

3.Do you think this movie will work in box office?

As always, I have no idea. I had no idea how Tales was going to do, and it was far more successful than I ever in a million years could have dreamt. I think the people who do see it will like what they see. Were I to guess, I'd say that it'll make money. I'm not expecting Ice Princess-type numbers, but it should turn a profit. How much it makes depends upon many factors, the prediction of which is beyond my capacity for prognostication.

4.You seem to be specializing lately in innovative projects, like 'Tales Of The Unexpected' or this one. It seems like you like to take risks...

I tend to write stories that I consider to be interesting. The way I see it, if a story can't even hold my interest when I'm writing it, why would anyone want to read it? You want to know why I have such a reputation for not finishing projects - that's it. I'm a perfectionist who always demands something compelling from myself. This, I think, is why I tend to be drawn toward weirder stories - Schrodinger's Litterbox, Tales of the Unexpected, Lobo...these are just the kinds of stories that interest me.

5.What can we expect from you in the near fututre?

I wish I could tell you, but the truth is, I'm not entirely sure myself. My writing comes in fits and spurts. One moment I could be drawing a blank, the next I could be submitting three stories at once. I've got a few ideas floating around. I'd like to work with David Lynch someday. However, I do know that there will be a sequel to Tales of the Unexpected. That's all I can tell you.

CMP’s SUPERHEROES GALLERY

It all begun in a shy way. Captain America appeared in the first Season of CMP and no other hero seemed to follow his trace. But suddenly, CMP suffered a ‘superheroes explosion’: almost every author of the Studio suffered a superhero fever and one after another all kind of heroes hit the screen. A profitable business for the Studio, by the way, as this genre always seems to work in box office. Today, we take a look at the long payroll of CMP’s superheroes.

THE ROCKET MAN

Who’s behind the costume?George Clooney played the most anti-heroic superhero ever: an imaginary character that only existed in Paul Giamatti’s mind. A superhero getting old and tired created by the talented duo James Bradley and Wes Anderson.
Box Office’s Superpowers: This bittersweet comedy worked nicely in box office and is still remembered as one of the most original CMP’s movies.
Everlasting Life: Zero. I’m afraid good old Rocket Man will never fly again.

CAPTAIN AMERICA

Who’s behind the costume? Poor Heath Ledger starred in the first CMP’s superhero saga. At the end of it, both the character and the actor died. Joey Stark, Bryan Singer and Brett Ratner created this franchise but Tim Burton took control of it after the first movie. Later, Captain America resurrected to join The Avengers with the look of Adam Baldwin.
Box Office’s Superpowers: Three movies and all of them box office’s hits.
Everlasting Life: Captain America is now part of The Avengers but he has always been overshadowed by Ironman, Hulk and now Spiderman in the group.

ULTRAMAN

Who’s behind the costume? Eddie Murphy and writer Steve Connors created this clumsy superhero that laughed at the clichés of the genre.
Box Office’s Superpowers: Audiences never got the joke in it. Three movies made but none of them a major box office hit.
Everlasting Life: Connors always talks about a fourth Ultraman’s adventure so fear the worst.

WILD CARDS’ HEROES

Who’s behind the costume? The third episode of this iconic CMP’s saga moved into a peculiar superhero saga presenting a group of freaky superheroes far away from the ‘Avengers stereotypes’. But audiences always preferred the classic characters of the franchise than these heroes with the strangest – and some times useless – superpowers.
Box Office’s Superpowers: Wild Cards movies never broke records but always kept a loyal crowd of followers.
Everlasting Life: ‘Battle Of The Rox’ was announced as the last episode of the saga by Joey Stark and Matt Kubrick. But fans keep demanding through the net new movies, so you never know…

SUPERMAN

Who’s behind the costume? Nicholas Cage made true his dream of playing Superman in ‘Captain America vs Superman’.
Box Office’s Superpowers: Facing Captain America and Superman was a Tim Burton’s idea and it worked so well in box office.
Everlasting Life: Cage had planned to put up a Justice League franchise where he would keep playing Superman but the project never found a writer interested in it.

LIEUTENANT USA

Who’s behind the costume? Steve Carrel played this anti-hero in the line of Ultraman created by John Daws.
Box Office’s Superpowers: The first movie was a surprising hit. The sequel did not work so well.
Everlasting Life: Uncertain future. The discrete box office of the sequel may have discouraged the Studio to keep on going with the character.

THE AVENGERS

Who’s behind the costume? Matt Kubrick and Gore Verbinski are the duo behind the Mother of All Superheroes’ Franchises.
Box Office’s Superpowers: The three movies of the saga have worked so well in box office, specially the second one. It got close to the 200 millions.
Everlasting Life: The battle of the egos between the stars involved – particularly Robert Downey Jr. and Edward Norton – and a certain exhaustion from Kubrick and Verbinski have put in danger this franchise. Anyway, a four installment has been officially announced by Kubrick.

LOBO

Who’s behind the costume? Kubrick and Tyler adapted the freakiest comic character imaginable. And Vin Diesel gave him his face and muscles.
Box Office’s Superpowers: Turning ‘Lobo’ into ‘Loba’ in the sequel was just too much for the audiences, that turned their back to the franchise.
Everlasting Life: A shame, but what probably is the most original hero / anti-hero seen from CMP may not return again.

CAPTAIN PLANET

Who’s behind the costume? Ben Tyler laughed at superheroes and also at political correction with this parody starred by Owen Wilson.
Box Office’s Superpowers: A surprising blockbuster.
Everlasting Life: It never pretended to become a saga. Just a denounce of the eco-business.

PREACHER

Who’s behind the costume? Kubrick is also behind the adaptation of the cult character, played by James Marsden. As Lobo, this Preacher is not exactly a superhero but an alternative to them.
Box Office’s Superpowers: The first movie, directed by Zack Snyder, was critically acclaimed and has become a CMP’s classic.
Everlasting Life: A sequel directed by Guillermo Del Toro is about to be released.

SILVER SABLE

Who’s behind the costume? The creators of Captain America, Joey Stark and Bryan Singer, joined forces again with this adaptation of the sexy heroine, played by Katherine Heigl.
Box Office’s Superpowers: The movie worked in box office.
Everlasting Life: A sequel will be released in Season 11.

THE FLASH

Who’s behind the costume? As ‘Silver Sable’ another standard superhero movie, this time coming from Dawson Edwards. The CMP’s superhero fever kept rising with this kind of movies.
Box Office’s Superpowers: Again, the genre proved to be profitable in box office although originality was going down.
Everlasting Life: Edwards announced a sequel some time ago but nobody has ever heard about it again.

NICK FURY

Who’s behind the costume? Kurt Russell, who has become the most active CMP’s talent playing this character six times until now.
Box Office’s Superpowers: It was a more modest production than the official Avengers movies but still attracted a wide audience.
Everlasting Life: Matt Kubrick plans to turn this Avengers’ spin off in an own franchise.

HAWKEYE

Who’s behind the costume? Orlando Bloom left The Avengers feeling mistreated by the Studio. So David Makalaster decided he deserved his own movie playing Hawkeye.
Box Office’s Superpowers: Again, superheroes beat easily the 100 millions barrier.
Everlasting Life: Again, a superhero movie is announced as the beginning of a new saga.

AQUAMAN

Who’s behind the costume? Dawson Edwards, decided to compete with Matt Kubrick as the official superheroes movies writer of the Studio.
Box Office’s Superpowers: We’ll see…
Everlasting Life: Yes, yes, we know: again it is announced as the beginning of a new saga.

A sexy couple for this week’s release ‘Deep Silence 2: Red Code High’. Here are Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Alba in a photo session by the sea to promote their new movie.

Believe it or not, we have another CMP’s superhero movie this week… And I would have to be paid double to write about it. The only thing I know about this ‘Aquaman’ is that many talents refused the offer to be in the movie. For what I know, Dawson Edwards wanted a topstars cast for it. The problem was that no topstar was interested in being in this B-series kitsch production about a hero nobody but Edwards himself needed to see on the big screen.

And now that Aquaman is a reality, Edwards has begun working on his next superhero production. No, it won’t be the announced sequel of his other B-series kitsch saga, The Flash. Now it’s the turn for… - *drumroll* - … Wonder Woman! Yes, Edwards and Harry Stark have begun the search for the right actress to resurrect the most kitsch superhero ever – that impossible costume… - and first names heard for the role include Jessica Biel, Megan Fox and Kate Bosworth. But my deep throat from CMP’s offices has told me that the list of candidates overcomes the dozen of names. I’ll keep informing you about it.

Why has Joey Stark written ‘Deep Silence 2’? This sequel was kept in CMP’s office drawers for years. Nobody at the Studio but Big Boss Harry had faith in it. Long time ago, Matt Kubrick wrote a draft of screenplay for the sequel, but CMP’s Executive Board rejected it. Harry Stark tried several times to convince James Cameron to get involved in the sequel, but he always refused the offer. Finally, Old Harry begged his brother, Young Joey, to write a sequel. And also convinced Renny Harlin and Jessica Alba – two talents needed of an urgent success to revitalize their CMP’s careers – to work in it. The rest is history. In CMP’s corridors the rumor is that nobody but Harry believes in this project, not even Joey, the author of the screenplay.

John Daws, who has turned a History specialized author with his latest movies, ‘1066' and ‘The Gunpowder Plot’, might resurrect his most successful franchise. And no, there’s not a sixth Hitman movie on the way. I’m talking about ‘Game Boy’. Yes, rumors say that Daws might be writing a third installment of the saga starred by Daniel Radcliff. The two first Game Boy movies became box office’s record breakers so probably the always greedy Harry Stark is behind that interest on resurrecting such a profitable franchise.

And last news of the week… Release Schedule for Season 11 is already closed. What can we expect? Nothing new really: a few sequels, a few superheroes movies, a few Collins’ dramas, a few Kubrick’s exploitations… Harry will keep getting richer and the rest of us might keep waiting to see something really new coming from the Studio.
