The Plot:
Bruce (C.Bale) wheels down the hallway, balding head, and visibly thinner. He and Alfred (M.Caine) share small talk. Alfred asks Bruce if he is sure on his decision. They watch Jason(Gavron) train, and he tells him that he is sure. They discuss the treatment, and after he’s found out that the cancer has spread, he decides to just send it in, and go peacefully.
Fade into a dark room, within a warehouse. A woman with her hands tied together hangs from the rope that’s tightening her wrists together. A thug enters the room with a whip in hand. “Where the fuck is the money?” he yells. The woman starts mumbling but her tears overwhelm her words. The man whips her multiple times. “I don’t know!” she finally screams. “She’s lying.” we hear from a distance. “Fuckin prostitues…”the thug says. The other voice chimes in “Go ahead. Do it.” The thug hangs another rope nearby, and ties the woman’s feet to it, stretching her body horizontally. She screams in pain. “Oh hun, you think this is bad?” the thug says. He pulls out a knife and cuts her stomach open. The thug and the other figure, unseen, leave without even taking a look at the women who winces in pain.
Meanwhile, Jason (R.Gavron) is busy breaking into a building downtown. Inside, is Victor Zsasz (B.Foster), torturing three men in suits. Zsasz has scars that look like tally marks all over his body. “Hmmm, lawyers…multiple people in society have been cheated by the system, because you think you can sneak your way past the truth. So now, it’s your turn to tell the truth.” He walks over to the first man on his knees, and holds a knife to his neck. “What would you rather me cut off…your ears? your lips? or your fingers?” he asks. The man panics and is too nervous to talk. Zsasz shrugs his shoulders and sticks the knife into the man’s cheek, and twists it around a little bit.
The man starts to scream in pain repeatedly, and finally Zsasz cuts his throat. He falls to the ground, and Zsasz adds another mark to himself. Finally, Jason busts in, with an all white suit, built like Batman’s and a white mask that covers his eyes. “And who the hell are you? The White Knight?” “You can call me…The Robin.” He jumps off the ledge and kicks Zsasz in the face. They proceed to get in a fist fight, with it sprawling all over the room. Finally, Zsasz gets him cornered and stabs him in the stomach. One of the lawyers kicks Zsasz from behind, and he proceeds to turn around kill him with his knife too. He cuts another mark, beside the last one, and laughs. Robin can only hold his womb in pain, and watch Zsasz as he escapes.
Afterwards, Bruce takes the camera attached to Jason’s suit and watches the video. He lectures Jason on the mistakes he’s made, and tells him how he can improve. After their conversation, Jason gets a call from his ex-girlfriend Lexi Kyle (Rooney Mara). Jason and her had been high school sweethearts, but when she moved away for college, it couldn’t continue. She says that she is getting married to famous movie star Simon Holiday (Cam Gigandet),and will be returning to town.
Bruce has convinced Jason to hunt Zsasz down. Expecting not to meet him in public (with his scars), he goes to a Sionis Family warehouse, where thugs hang out. He walks in, and it’s the same one we’d seen before. Zsasz is in there and says he wants no harm. But he was lying, as he pulls out his gun and points it towards The Robin. He takes a gulp and runs towards him. Zsasz shoots, but The Robin takes him down, and puts ties up his hands. He reveals to be wearing a bullet proof vest. But while he was taking him down, his mask fell off and he must hurry to put it back on. Zsasz is then arrested.
We are now in the office of Roman Sionis (Vincent Cassel). He’s talking to his right hand man, about a problem they’ve been dealing with. After a few of his men had some flings with prostitutes in the East End district of Gotham, they returned to find out they were cheated out of money. So Roman sent some of his men back to torture these woman into giving the money back. Now there’s been a masked vigilante robbing his money and killing his men.Cut to an image of a woman dressed in all black (Kate Mara) running through the alleys of the East End. She finds one of the girls getting attacked by the men, and she retaliates. She kills them all, and then proceeds to steal all of their money. Back to the office, where they are discussing ways to find her.
We see a montage of Sionis’ childhood, in a middle class upbringing. His dad rose from obscurity and started a successful company, which was handed down to Roman. But when a few deals went wrong, the business went off the deep end. Bruce offers to bailout Roman’s company but then changes his mind, right before the deal was to happen. He then starts to get into the drug industry. Cut back to present, an informant runs in and tells Roman of Zsasz’ arrest. He tells him to watch the security camera to see what happened.
Jason, with a scar across his cheek, sits in a downtown diner, talking to his old friend Lexi. She tells her that she worries about Gotham’s future with the upcoming mayoral election. He says he feels that the city will be in good hands, no matter who is voted in, with a smirk on his face. She also confesses to him that she’s missed him since her college days. This keeps a smile on his face. She informs him that the wedding will be really big.
Roman and his gang find out that his cameras weren’t good enough to read the face of the Robin, so he becomes angry. So in order to keep better control of his territories, he needs newer technology, so he asks for the assistance of Lucious Fox (M.Freeman). Lucious, unaware of Sionis’ organization, agrees to come out of retirement to give tips on some new breaking software, for a large sum. Roman agrees and installs the equipment in every area ruled by him, including the East End. This makes Roman move his drug trafficking ring into the East End.
We then see Jason and Alfred at Bruce’s bedside within the home. He warns Jason that relationships are hard to sustain when fighting crime. A knock then comes onto the door. It is Clark Kent (H.Cavill). “Hello Clark…didn’t expect to see you today.” “Lois and I were in town for a report on the election.Thought I would stop by for a quick chat with my good friend.” “I’m going to miss you Clark.” They both start to shed a tear. “I’m going to miss you too, buddy. So it’s Stage IV?” Bruce slowly nods his head. “You were the best friend I ever had,you know?” Clark says. “Don’t fool yourself. I know that’d be Lex.” Clark chuckles. Bruce starts breathing heavy. “Tell Diana…tell her I’m sorry.I’ll see you around Clark.” They shake hands as Clark smiles. When walking away, he see's Jason. "We hope to see you soon." he says, smiling.
We find out that the girl in all black has been caught by Sionis’ high-tech cameras, and they’ve analyzed her face. They find out her identity is Selina Kyle. Roman decides that in order to make her stop killing in his men, he will torture the people closest to her. This includes her sister, Lexi Kyle.
Jason is walking down the hallway, when he passes the Batman suit. He looks at it, then see’s himself on the glass, making it look like he’s in the suit. Alfred then crosses paths with him, telling him that Bruce’s health is quickly deteriorating. It begins to rain outside, and they both stare out the window onto the dark skyline, while Alfred asks him if he’s ready. Jason pauses, and Bruce answers from down the hall. “He’s ready.”
Alfred and Bruce go over his will, while Jason is sleeping. Included are Jason, Alfred and the family of Rachel Dawes. Over night, while everyone is asleep, Bruce’s machine starts going off. The cameras enter his room and he lies there by himself. Alfred awakens, and enters the room. He sits in the chair next to him, and connects palms. He strokes his hand, as Bruce goes quietly from the world.
The next day, things are quiet. We then learn of Roman’s intentions of implanting his technology throughout the whole city of Gotham. But first he finds out of the mayoral candidates to shut down organized crime. He enters the man’s party headquarters, and requests a meeting with him. Before he enters the office, he slips on a black skull mask, that automatically attaches to his face, to avoid any kind of identity be revealed. He takes the candidate by the neck and makes him pass out. The next thing we see is them on top of the Marone Family 7-story compound.
The candidate, who has a fear of heights, wakes up and starts to panic. A thin set of board goes 6 feet off the edge. On the end of the “plank”, is the man’s cell phone, with 9-1-1 ready to be called. Roman tells the man if he wants to be free, to grab the phone and call. On the boards, are little spikes, making it impossible for him to crawl across. The man, sweating and panting, takes his first step, on the board, then a second, getting a foot out. He tries to balance himself and takes another step. The camera starts to become dizzy, as the man’s fear is kicking in. He takes another step, but on the next one, he falters, and falls onto the plank, with the spikes piercing through his legs and groin. He screams in pain, and stand up. He inches closer to the phone, until Roman yells his name. This scares him, causing him to panic, and he falls off on the left side.
Unable to postpone elections, the election is to go on the next day,as well as Lexi’s wedding and Bruce’s funeral. A great amount of Gotham City is at one or the other, and the others are out voting. While this happens, Roman sends out his men to implant his technology throughout important parts of the city. Meanwhile, he puts on his black mask and races towards the wedding.
At the wedding, Simon and Lexi exchange vows and I do’s, and drive away with a “Just Married” sign on the back of their car. But they are soon boxed in by three other cars, and forced into an alley, where they are kidnapped. Selina, driving behind, notices something fishy. After leaving the wedding, Jason attends Bruce’s memorial service, with thousands in attendance.
Black Mask takes Simon and Lexi to a secret building, and blindfolds them. When they open their eyes, they’re in a large room. It is plain white, with one small window,. At the memorial, he asks Alfred why he was chosen to be the replacement. Alfred acts like he has no clue, but Jason is suspicious. After wards, he calls his mother and asks him about his dad’s dad. She tells him that they are no longer on speaking terms, and he should know this by now. He asks her for his name, at first she’s reluctant, but then tells him. It’s “Alfred Pennysworth”.
It all starts to make sense, as he was the logical choice to succeed the throne. But then he finds out about Lexi’s kidnapping, when he turns on the TV. Posted throughout the streets are signs telling Catwoman to go visit Lexi and Simon, giving an address. But Jason passes on the Robin suit, and goes for the Batman suit. He wants to be the one to save her.
He races to the house, and finds the room. He looks through the window, but there is no door. Then coming running down the hallway is Catwoman, who is surprised by Batman. She hesitates, as does Batman, and then they both try to find a way to get to Lexi. As they stand there, they notice the walls inside the room are starting to close in. Lexi screams while Simon tries to calm her down. Batman decides to race outside.
He finds nothing,so instead goes outside of the room. He shoots his Batclaw from a far distance, and lets it pull him in. He leaps up, to but put this feet through the wall, but when he hits it, he fails. He then goes on the roof, and hits it repeatedly. Finally he breaks through, and see’s the couple in there. “Lexi!” he yells. “Batman!” she screams, while panting. Catwoman watches it all through the window. The walls are close to smashing them, so Batman drops a rope, for them to climb up on. He sends it down, and Lexi hooks on. But on the way up, she accidentally hit’s the cord, causing herself to drop, and knocks Simon down as well. We see Robin watch through the hole, and Catwoman, helplessly, through the glass. The walls close, and we zoom out, to see it start to rain, on the dark Gotham day.
At home, Lucious finally realises his mistake in giving the technology to Roman, and notifies Alfred about how to off-set it. Alfred tells Jason, who, in return, asks him about his father. Alfred sits Jason down and tells him everything. He tells him how they got in a fight at a young age, and Jason’s father moved out of the house. He changed his last name, and never contacted Alfred again. Meanwhile, after that point, Alfred and his wife got a divorce, and he got a job with the Wayne’s.
Finally, Batman and Catwoman meet up, to plan an attack on Roman. They’re still unaware of who each other is, and Jason starts to develop a liking of her. But he remains completely serious as Batman, keeping on his poker face. He asks Catwoman what Lexi meant to her, and she tells him that it was just another citizen needing saved.
The two race through the Sionis compound, with Catwoman defeating the guards, and Batman turning off the cameras on the way. Finally, Black Mask walks out with a gun in hand, and welcomes the two. “I control this city, boys and girls. Welcome to my Kingdom!” “You killed her!” Batman yells. “And SHE (points at Catwoman) killed my men. What’s the difference death is death. But I prefer torture.”
The lights go off in the place, and Catwoman screams,as if something’s happened. Batman uses a bat vision application on his suit, and navigates his way through the room to get to Roman. He goes to the spot where Roman was, but he’s not there anymore. Then a fire starts in a circle around the Catwoman and Batman.
They are closes in, and try to find a way to escape. Then Roman ends up within the circle, and tells them to try to kill him. He rips off his mask and starts to laugh. He then places his head within the fire, lighting it up. He puts it out, but his head is still burnt all around. Strobe lights start to go off in the corner of the room, and starts playing mind games with them. Finally, Batman notices bars on the ceiling, and sends his bat claw up to it. He hooks on and swings, and kicks Black Mask into the fire, setting him on fire. He then swings by, and grabs Catwoman, taking her to the other side of the fire. They go to Roman’s office, and shut down the whole security system, that’s planted throughout Gotham. They recognize that instead, Roman had rigged them all with a series of bombs, which is what they turned off.
Batman and Catwoman act relieved, but part ways without revealing each other’s identity. We see Batman jumping across the rooftops. As we his voiceover “This city never sleeps. But I will make sure it never dies. I am the Caped Crusader. I am Batman.” As he runs off, we see him stop and bend over to pick something up. It’s a card. On it reads “What is as big as you, yet does not weigh anything?”. He is confused and then finds another card on the ground. “Your shadow.” it reads. Batman turns around to his shadow, and finds a green spray-painted question mark.

SURVIVOR
Thriller / Drama
The Cast: Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, Mary Steenburgen, Adam Scott
The Director: Mark Pellington
The Screenwriter: D.R. Cobb
The Plot:
Tender Branson (R.Gosling) sits in the cockpit of a Boeing 747, telling his life story to the black box. He is alone in the plane, having hijacked it and released the passengers and crew. He begins explaining the events leading up to the hijacking...
Tender is a member of the Creedish cult, which committed mass suicide ten years earlier. He is one of the Creedish members who was sent out into the world to work as a servant, and send his earnings back home. Survivors have been killing themselves ever since the mass suicide. Tender works as the housekeeper for a rich couple he never sees in Portland, OR. They issue him his directions each day through a speaker phone. At his bare bones apartment, Tender gets calls from people who want to kill themselves as the result of a newspaper typo which printed his phone number as the number for a suicide prevention hotline. Tender tells these people to kill themselves. The newspaper prints a retraction and the calls begin to dwindle, so Tender prints up fliers for a fake hotline with number on them.
One day a call comes from Trevor Hollis, a man who wants to kill himself because of nightmares he has about disasters. Tender tells Trevor to kill himself, and a few days later, reads his obituary in the paper. Tender goes to the cemetery to steal fake flowers for his employer's garden, and decides to visit Trevor's tomb while he is there. At the tomb, he meets Trevor's sister, Fertility (E.Blunt), and they talk. Later that night, Tender has his weekly meeting with his caseworker from the Federal Survivor Retention Program, an agency that keeps tabs on the survivors of suicide cults. He asks her how many survivors there are remaining, and she informs him that there are only 100 survivors nationwide.
Tender explains into the black box how the Creedish Church works. Only the firstborn sons and their wives get to stay and reside in the community. The rest are sent out to cities throughout the country to work as servants. They are trained in etiquette, housecleaning, and other menial labor, after which they are sent out. Every month, they are expected to send back money and a letter of confession. All the Creedish wear highly recognizable clothing, both inside the community and out. Making it easy to spot another member of the Church in the outside world. Tender describes how, ten years previously, someone leaked the Church's doings to the police and the FBI were put on the case. The FBI move in to arrest the cult leaders only to find the entire community dead in an act of mass suicide upon hearing the news. The remaining survivors are expected to be prepared for such an event, and are expected to kill themselves as soon as they hear the news.
After their meeting, Fertility calls Tender thinking she has called a crisis hotline. Tender realizes it's Fertility, and begins speaking to her in a fake voice. But Fertility is psychic and knows that she is speaking to Tender. She talks about her brother's suicide and how she met a weird man at the cemetery, mentioning how he reminded her of a Creedish cult member, adding that he was unattractive and she believed him to be Trevor's homosexual lover. Eventually, she asks him to have phone sex with her, but he turns her down and hangs up on her. He stops answering his phone in fear that Fertility will be on the other line, wanting to have phone sex or growing more attracted to him as a mysterious voice than as a person.
During another meeting with his caseworker (M.Steenburgen) at his employers' house, Tender gets frustrated with all of her questions and tells her that if she really wants to help him, she can start by scrubbing the shower tiles. Burnt out over a decade of lost suicide cases, the caseworker quickly grows obsessed with cleaning and soon takes over Tender's job. While cleaning, she reveals that many of the Creedish suicides were really murders masked to look like suicides to encourage more survivors to kill themselves.
A week from their last meeting, Tender and Fertility meet again at Trevor's tomb in the mausoleum. Fertility teaches him to dance, while revealing that Trevor had been psychic, and all the things he had dreams about had really happened. Tender receives a call from a man he recognizes as a member of the Creedish Church, and he soon realizes that the murderer of Creedish survivors is actually Creedish himself. The call scares him, and he fears that he will be the next victim. Immediately after the call, Fertility also calls Tender, again trying to reach the crisis hotline, and she tells him about dancing with the man at the mausoleum and asks him to get together with her. Tender, as the man at the crisis hotline, agrees on the condition that she agrees to take the man from the mausoleum (him) out on a date as well. She agrees.
On their date, Tender and Fertility ride the bus downtown, where a stranger rudely begins telling them tasteless jokes pointed at the Creedish mass suicide. Tender laughs at all the jokes, but Fertility snaps at the joker for making fun of suicide. When the joker rises to exit the bus, Tender recognizes the man's pants as Creedish dress, and recognizes the man as Adam, his twin brother (also R.Gosling). Tender speaks Adam's name aloud, but when Adam asks if they are brothers, he desperately denies it. After getting off the bus, Fertility takes Tender to a department store that she knows will catch on fire, but that she knows will not harm them. Fertility explains that she has the same talent as her brother for dreaming the future.
Tender learns that he has become one of the last two survivors of the Creedish Church. The caseworker has him go over photos of dead Creedish to see if he can identify the other survivor, but he already knows that it is his brother Adam. He begins receiving phone calls from journalists and agents wanting his story. The caseworker suffocates on a chemical solution of ammonia and chlorine that she was using to clean the fireplace. Adam steals the caseworker's files on the Creedish suicides immediately after the murder. The police suspect Tender, but he claims innocence and slips away. Tender calls an agent and gets on a plane to New York.
The agent (A.Scott) reveals that his company has been planning for years to turn the last survivor of the Creedish cult into a religious celebrity. They create a fake history for Tender and completely overhaul his appearance. He is given steroid injections, health food, teeth caps, and is made to exercise and diet incessantly until he is the model of physical attractiveness. It is made clear by the agent that no one will worship an ugly religious leader.
As his agent's plans are realized, Tender's fame grows. These plans include the publication of Tender's "autobiography" and the "Book of Very Common Prayer", as well as the conversion of the former Creedish land into the Tender Branson Sensitive Materials Sanitary Landfill (a 20,000-acre repository for America's outdated porn). Tender is waiting for the perfect moment to kill himself, but continually puts it off as circumstances fail to meet his criteria. Then, as his popularity starts to wane, the agent tells him that he needs to perform a miracle in order to stay famous. Fertility finds Tender and gives him a prediction to make on TV (that a hurricane will hit Miami). When the hurricane hits, Tender's fame swells to even greater proportions.
Tender and Fertility continue the ruse for some time, until the Super Bowl comes up and Tender's agent plans him an elaborate wedding to take place at half-time, after which Tender will issue another prediction. Tender goes wandering around, trying to meet up with Fertility, which he finally does in a bathroom where they've taken adjacent stalls. Adam appears then with a gun, and reveals that he's already laid a trap to kill Tender's agent the same way he killed the caseworker, so that Tender would be suspect for both murders. Fertility confirms that the agent will die the next day at the Super Bowl, and comes up with a plan for Tender to make a prediction big enough to distract the police just long enough for him to escape. Adam, Tender, and Fertility agree to escape together.
The day of the Super Bowl, Adam murders the agent, Tender is married, and as the police come to arrest him for the agent‘s murder, Tender predicts that the Colts will beat the Cardinals 28-24. The stadium erupts in chaos as angry football fans pour out of their seats to chase Tender and it is all the police can do to stop the crowd from mobbing him to death. Tender escapes with Adam and Fertility and the three then begin a journey across the country by hitching rides on semi-trucks transporting incomplete sections of houses from one location to another. Fertility intentionally gets separated from the brothers.
Adam and Tender steal a car that Fertility told them would be unlocked in a particular parking lot. Attached to the dashboard is a little figurine of Tender. The brothers, heading north to Canada, come to the Tender Branson Sensitive Materials Sanitary Landfill on the way. As they drive through it, Tender spaces out and crashes the car into a giant concrete pylon in the middle of the landfill. The passenger side airbag sends the Tender figurine flying into Adam's left eye. Adam pulls out the figurine and asks Tender to find a rock and hit him with it. Tender refuses, but Adam asks him to find any rock that he can just to disfigure him with, pleading that if he goes to jail for his murders, he doesn't want the other inmates to even think about raping him. Tender reluctantly agrees, as long as Adam will tell him when to stop, but Adam keeps telling him to swing again until he dies.
Immediately afterwards, Fertility shows up in a taxicab and takes Tender away from the landfill. They go back to Portland, and Fertility plans to go on as a surrogate mother for couples who can't conceive to make some money. Fertility is told by a doctor that she is barren. In the middle of the night, Tender sneaks into Fertility‘s apartment, and she has sex with him. The next morning, Tender wakes up and Fertility tells him that she's pregnant. She then leaves for the airport to board a plane to Australia, leaving her planner behind. In it Tender reads that someone is going to hijack the plane and crash it into the Australian outback.
Tender follows Fertility to the airport and uses Adam’s gun to board the plane. He searches for the hijacker until he realizes that he is the hijacker.
Speaking to the black box, Tender mentions that Fertility told him there was a way for him to escape the plane before it crashes. Tender parachutes out of the plane mere moments before it hits the ground.
THE END.

Stark’s Comment:
Here we go with another one of the risky releases of this Season… You all know that the word ‘thriller’ describing a CMP’s film uses to be a box office’s poison. I don’t feel sure at all about how this one is going to work.
Behind The Scenes:
-Mark Pellington makes his CMP’s debut with this movie.
-Ryan Gosling has worked before with D.R. Cobb in ‘The Question’.
-The film is based on a book by Chuck Palahniuk. Palahniuk is also the author of ‘Fight Club’. The big screen adaptation of ‘Fight Club’ was directed by David Fincher.
-D.R.Cobb offered David Fincher to produce this movie. He could not accept the offer because he was busy with ‘Sub-Mariner’.
ORIGINAL COLONIES
Comedy / Drama
The Cast: Jesse Eisenberg, Mia Wasikowska, Katherine Heigl, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Watson, Mila Kunis, Jena Malone, Anna Kendrick, Kevin James
The Director: Noah Baumbach
The Producer: Grand Island Movies
The Screenwriter: Josh Collins
The Plot:
Jesse Eisenberg stars as a young man with not very much going on in his 27th year of life. He works a deadend part-time job and he's not well liked by his managers and co-workers. He has an art degree in college that he just doesn't use. He did manage to get many girlfriends in his life, but none of them very serious and he always ended up fucking up his relationships somehow. He has ambitions to be a video game designer, but is sitting on his ambitions and waiting for nothing.
His younger 21 year old sister, Mia Wasikowska, is his roommate. She too seems to be just floating by in life: going to work, no college ambition and she only had one serious long-term relationship before she broke it off. She often bosses Jesse around and complains about him. They get on each others' nerves, but they really do love each other.
Their biological father was a jerk and left them and their mother. She didn't remarry, but kept a boyfriend for a long time. She never had time for her own kids and the boyfriend wasn't always nice to them. So Jesse and Mia really only had each other.
The brother and sister roommates' lives are turned upside down when Jesse receives a mysterious gift on the apartment doorstep: A baby girl. Jesse found her at the doorstep in a baby-carriage-basket with a note "Jesse, I can't do this anymore. This is your child." with no signature.
Jesse is not happy. He claims he can't even take care of himself, let alone a child. Mia wonders who the mother is and Jesse says he doesn't know. When she requests to have a paternity test, Jesse says that will just take up too much time. He doesn't even know how old the baby is, but he figures there's at least six possible mothers: Mia accuses him of being a slut.
Jesse decides to take a trip to find out who the mother is. He explains to his sister that a year and a half ago, he went on a cross-country trip with his buddies to graduate college. He had one night stands with six women throughout the duration of the trip. Now he's got to try to remember who they were and where they were, finding clues throughout the film. It's also a chance for him to assess life and figure out what he wants to do, and to assess his relationships and figure out why he can't seem to keep any of them. Mia wonders why the possible mothers are in so many different states and he tells her his friends bet that he couldn't sleep with a woman from each state from the Original Colonies. He got to six before he gave up when the women from other states they visited of the 13 Original colonies weren't biting.
Mia tags along for the trip: she wants to support her brother and keep him company, also wanting to assess her life and figure out what she wants to do.
So the sibling pair venture out with the baby in a car: neither of them can afford to fly, but Jesse at least knows which towns to hit, they just happen to be in at least one of the 13 original U.S. colonies.
Getting to the areas proves to be as much of a hassle as getting to the women. They experience car trouble like getting a flat tire and having to wait for Triple A to come out, running out of gas and having to walk to a gas station in the middle of nowhere. They get into a car accident that doesn't total the car, but wrecks it enough to be just another nuisance, They also accidentally get their car towed while parking in a tow away zone: Jesse certainly isn't the brighest brother in the batch, and Mia constantly reminds him of it by incidents like these. In one argument they have, Mia shows her resentment toward her brother, saying because he was older, he moved out and left her with nobody. Throughout the film, Jesse and Mia grow a bond with Jesse's baby daughter.
The six possible mothers are:
1: Mila Kunis, a Russian model who moved to New York to pursue a modeling career. She says she slept with Jesse because she was drunk and at the time he made up some story about his mom's boyfriend running over their puppy on accident "Hey that really happened!" Mia said.
2: Jenna Malone from North Carolina. Turns out she's a "Stage 5 Clinger" who has pictures of her and Jesse all over her apartment, even though they only spent a night together. Jesse and Mia cancel her out because she's so in love with the idea of her and Jesse together that she wouldn't abandon his child on his doorstep.
3: Jennifer Aniston from Virginia. She is the oldest woman Jesse slept with on his trip, and the night they had sex, she was looking for a quick escape from her life as a wife and mother. When Jesse and Mia show up at her door with the baby, Jennifer invites them in to meet her husband, Kevin James. She actually thanks Jesse for actually saving her marriage and instead of getting his ass kicked by her husband, he thanks Jesse and he wants them to "join them" while the kids are asleep. In joining them, he means to swing with them and he starts hitting on Mia, further disgusting her (she's already taken aback that her brother slept with a woman as old as their mom) Mia and Jesse run out of the home and are nearly down the street when they realize they forgot the baby at Jennifer's house. Mia refused to go back into that house, so Jesse must quickly get back into the house and retrieve his daughter, very quickly though.
4: Emma Watson from Georgia. She was born in England, but raised in Georgia. Once again, Mia is disturbed by the women Jesse hooks up with. She wonders why he hooked up with a girl as old as her. Emma is a Harry Potter fangirl who takes it to the extremes, dressing in her Potter robe and glasses, watching the movies and reading the books religiously. Mia asks why he even got with that girl and he was like, "I felt sorry for her, she needed to get leid." she asks, "Did you dress up like Harry Potter?" when he doesn't answer, she asks again, "Did you dress up like Harry Potter?" he answers, "Yes, yes is that what you wanted to hear?" Mia answers, "No, I really DIDN'T want to hear that. I was kind of hoping you'd say no."
5: Kathrine Heigl from Rhode Island. She is a former adult-film star turned high school teacher. Jesse and his buddies recognized her at a gas station. They were making porn-related wisecracks about the gas pump and Katherine realized he was the only one not being an idiot. 'That's a first' Mia mutters to herself. Despite her former profession, she seems to be the most normal and caring of the girls Jesse slept with on his trip. It could be a possibility due to her compassionate nature, but she says the baby couldn't be hers because she had a hisderectomy before she became a porn actress.
The siblings have some beers at a bar, where Mia gets into one of her depressed vents about herself, how she says she's a big fuck up and she messed everything up with her boyfriend and how basically her world is just a mess that's going nowhere. After that, Jesse takes her to their hotel and lays her on her bed, taking her shoes off and helping her under the covers. He speaks softly to the baby, telling her there is only one girl left; at least he hopes. He tells the baby that he is sorry he's going to have to return her, but he's just not ready to care for a baby. He says he's going to miss her growing up.
6: It leaves one woman left, Anna Kendrick from New Hampshire. It turns out that she IS the mother of the baby. She explains her reasoning of why she abandoned the child to him and everything else. She admits that she hasn't been a good mother, the baby cries and cries and she doesn't even respond to her cries most of the time. She says she spites Jesse, has this hatred for him: hatred of leaving her with a burden she just wasn't ready for. She cowardly left without talking to Jesse because she didn't want to face him. Instead of giving her up for adoption or killing her like one of those crazed mothers you hear on the news, she left the baby in his care. She doesn't regret what she did one bit and threatens to call the cops if they don't get off her property.
On the road trip back, Jesse stops the car engine, gets out of the car and collapses behind the car, crying to himself. Mia kneals down to console her brother with an arm around him. He tells her he's a big fuck up. He fucked everything up with girls, his job, his education, and fucked up everything with Mia. She puts her head to his until he gets a chance to collect himself. When he does, they get back into the car and begin driving home.
"She's gonna have to get a job as a child actress if she expects to stay in our apartment," Mia jokes. Jesse smiles, slowly but surely accepting his fate as a single father. He puts a hand around his sis and begins singing "Well, I won't back down. No I won't back down. You can stand me up at the gates of hell but I won't back down."
Mia smiles and joins in with her brother, "Gonna stand my ground, won't be turned around. And I'll keep this world from dragging me down. gonna stand my ground, and I won't back down."
'Wont Back Down' by Tom Petty kicks in as the movie fades to the credits.

Stark’s Comment:
With that top-notch cast of appealing female stars, this movie should work more than nicely at box office. I hope we don’t have here another unpleasant surprise…

DEUS EX: Nine Seasons after their only previous work for CMP, the mega-succesful and multi-

THE QUESTION: DARK TOMORROW: Green light at last for the awaited sequel of ‘The Question’. Two Seasons ago, ‘The Question’ was a peculiar release: it was the superhero movie that made the weakest box office ever for that movie genre in CMP (only 56 millions) but it instantly became a cult movie very much praised by fans and critics. The film won the Most Wanted Sequel GMA and it was surprisingly nominated for the Best Picture award. Now, D.R. Cobb has written this sequel and Duncan Jones (‘Thrust From Skyline’) is going to direct it after David Slade, director of the original movie, abandoned this project to direct ‘Alan Wake’. Zack Snyder is again the producer of the movie. And Ryan Gosling plays again Vic Sage in his third work of this Season after ‘Bad Family’ and this week’s release ‘Survivor’. Gosling got a Best Actor GMA nomination for his work in the first movie of this saga.
THE ALAMOGORDO: Many CMP’s authors like to try luck at least once with westerns, although

JUNGLE OF THE DEAD: As usual, Matt Kubrick has put up a long cast of B-list talents usually coming from tv series for his latest B-series horror flick. In this one, directed by Rob Zombie, we will see people like Nana Visitor, who already worked with Kubrick in the remake of ‘Silent Night, Deadly Night’; Bruce Campbell, who has also worked with Kubrick before in the acclaimed Tarantino’s western ‘Legends Of The West’; and two CMP’s debutantes: the star from two popular tv shows like ‘The Office’ and ‘Six Feet Under’, Rainn Wilson and the comedian Daniel Roebuk.
SUSPIRIA: The very demanded Emma Watson, who can be seen playing a comedic minor role in

GABRIEL: And Hugo Weaving has found time to be not only in ‘Suspiria’ but also in this sci-fi production being directed by Ron Howard, written by Ben Goldey and starred by Ewan McGregor. Guy Pearce has also found time to be in this movie although he has been working too in the upcoming ‘Grand Theft Auto II’. Pearce plays here a character previously offered to Daniel Craig and Christian Bale. Both refused the offer to be in this movie.
TELL ME YOU LOVE ME: And talking about finding time… Lindsay Lohan has been able to play

ALAN WAKE: The veteran and wonderful Sissy Spacek (don’t miss her work out of CMP in ‘The Help’!) returns to CMP after having only played for the Studio before a very minor role in ‘Bedtime Stories 2’. Tom Wilkinson, seen past Season in the acclaimed and awarded ‘Woman Of God’, has also joined this cast together with Brent Sexton, who makes here his CMP’s debut. David Slade is directing this game adaptation written by Yuri Redding and starred and produced by Tom Cruise.
FLICKER: Every week, more and more talents keep making their debut in CMP’s movies. In this

GRAND THEFT AUTO II: We had not seen him in a CMP’s movie since he starred ‘Suicide Squad’, a freak ultraviolent Uwe Boll’s show written by Matt Kubrick and surprisingly supported by critics (in fact, you still can find at the net fans demanding a sequel). Woody Harrelson will finally return to the Studio joining this franchise in this second installment written by Chad Taylor and being co-directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.

CHAD TAYLOR – ‘THE CAPED CRUSADER’
Chad Taylor and Dawson Edwards, two authors whose writing careers in CMP are very much linked, have got to create their own superheroes universe in the Studio developing several franchises with DC Comics’ characters. Wonder Woman, Superman, The Flash, Aquaman and the Justice League franchises have become an essential part of the iconography of CMP. Now, that universe takes another step forward with ‘The Caped Crusader’, the first CMP’s movie specifically focused on Batman. Chad Taylor is again behind this production and we have talked with him about it.
1.As the expert in comic books I'm not, is this movie based on any specific previously existing story or is it a fully original plot?
Of my knowledge, this is a totally new idea. All of my previous comic book movies have been based on a certain story, which is easy to work with. When going your own route, you must put a lot more creativity into the story.
2.It feels strange watching a superhero like Batman dying of cancer... Don't you fear that fans

Well this really expands on the story of "a real Batman." In a set of films, I hate the notion that anything could last forever. With the end in sight,I felt Batman's demise could be one caused by nobody. This should not be Batman's "end", as I expect someone to come along and take the reigns, and reboot the series. But for my Batman, for my universe,I wanted it to take an unexpected turn.
3.As much as this movie is partially a sequel of 'Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths', does this mean that you won't be writing any more Justice League films?
It is a possibility, but for the time being, Justice League is a thing of the past. As fun as it is working with 5 familiar brands, it also a lot of work keeping everyone happy. You have to balance the characters' screen time in order to make it feel like a true Justice League movie. I feel that I did that justly in the three films I made. If I feel necessary, I can take on the challenge of getting the band back together. But as it stands, Justice League 4 is not on the horizon.
4.Anyway, I understand that there will be more movies in the future with the new Batman / Gavron,

Yes, I have written a sequel to the Caped Crusader. It really picks up where this movie left off, and evolves my Batman's story. Currently, I'm putting my hand into a pot of original stories, so anymore superhero movies may have to wait a few seasons. But I can ensure you that you will see the continuation of Batman's story.
5.You are releasing soon a sequel of another one of the sagas you are managing, 'Grand Theft Auto'. What can you tell us about this second installment?
Grand Theft Auto is a fun series, because just as it was with the games, each movie can take on it's own tone. The second one gives a real insight into the life of Ren(Tom Hardy)'s cousin, played by Joel Edgerton. This movie will be really scaled down in comparison to the first movie. It will be fast-paced, follow only a handful of characters, and be a joy-ride the whole way through.

EMILY BLUNT
Emily Blunt has got a promotion in CMP with this week’s release ‘Survivor’. For the first time, Emily plays the lead female character in a CMP’s movie. But she is not new at the Studio at all. Emily has developed a most interesting career in CMP playing supporting roles in very different – and some of them, very successful – films in the Studio. This week, we take a look at an actress who uses to make the right choices in her CMP’s career.

BLINK
Josh Collins / Josh Collins
B.O.: 32 / N.G.: 4
Emily made her debut in CMP with one of the most acclaimed Collins’ family dramas, almost a subgenre itself in CMP. In fact, she started with this movie a stable collaboration with Josh Collins, becoming a regular in his casts. The film didn’t make a too impressive numbers but it has reached the status of a classic drama in CMP’s history.
GOLDMINE KILLERS
Paul Verhoeven / Josh Collins
B.O.: 33 / N.L.: 0.6
Emily’s second work with Collins was this failed mix of thriller and drama conceived as a vehicle for Angelina Jolie to shine. Jolie starred and produced a movie that didn’t even reach the net gains.
THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME
Danny Boyle / Josh Collins
B.O.: 22 / N.L.: 7
The third work of Emily for Collins was this wonderful movie unfairly mistreated by both critics and audiences. Collins’ adaptation of Mark Haddon’s bestselling book didn’t get the recognition it deserved. Again, Emily only played in it a minor role and her presence in CMP stayed almost unnoticed.
A FAREWELL TO ARMS
Martin Scorsese / Chad Taylor
B.O.: 50 / N.G.: 6
Emily’s status in CMP completely changed with this top budget adaptation of Hemingway’s book. The film didn’t work particularly well at box office but it became one of the most nominated and awarded films ever at the GMA with 8 nominations and 5 statues, including Best Picture, back in Season 15. Emily herself got her first and so far sole GMA nod at the Best Supporting Actress category.
IT’S JUST NOT WORKING OUT
James L. Brooks / Josh Collins
B.O.: 162 / N.G.: 171
Emily’s fourth work with Collins still is one of the most delicious ‘sleepers’ for CMP. This romantic comedy overcame any prediction and became an outstanding box office’s success. It made numbers usually reserved for superheroes films or big sci-fi shows. Cameron Diaz and Jason Bateman were the starring couple of the film. And Emily begun with it a most successful strike of works.
ATHENA
Zack Snyder / James Bradley & Joey Stark
B.O.: 225 / N.G.: 197
This epic mythological adventure meant the first ‘+200’ in Emily’s career. She met again with Angelina Jolie after ‘Goldmine Killers’. As usual, Emily only played a minor role in the film but being in a top blockbuster is always worthy and profitable for the prestige of any talent.
MOUSE GUARD 2
Joe Carnahan / Dawson Edwards
Emily joined the cast of voices in the second installment of this successful animated franchise. And it meant the second ‘+200’ release for her. The pattern stayed: she only played a minor role here. But having two ‘+200’ releases, another ‘+100’ and a GMA nomination is a curriculum not all the talents can show. Reasons more than enough to finally get a leading role in the upcoming ‘Survivor’.

No doubt, Jesse Eisenberg is a lucky guy in this week’s release ‘Original Colonies’. In the film the list of lovers he has had includes some of the sexiest stars in Hollywood. Here we have him with some of his lovers in the movie – Jennifer Aniston, Anna Kendrick and Mila Kunis – at the film’s premiere in Los Angeles.

Red alert is on at CMP’s offices. The Studio is going through the worst first weeks for a Season ever. 9 movies released and 5 of them have flopped at box office. And two other films expected to make high numbers, ‘Bad Family’ and ‘God Of War’, didn’t even reach the 80 millions. Also, movie genres like drama or animation have not worked as they were doing lately. In conclusion, everything seems to be going wrong so far this Season. CMP’s Executive Board expects that ‘The Caped Crusader’ will mean the starting point of a more successful strike. But, in the meantime, Harry Stark is close to suffer a heart attack and his team is afraid that some heads may roll if this trend of flops does not quickly change… and, by the way, there’s nothing I like more than watching Movie Studios’ executives losing their nerves… *evil laugh*

But, sometimes, CMP also looks at the past… Yuri Redding has announced his plan of resurrecting Kolchack. For those of you too young to remember, Kolchak was a detective that used to face paranormal cases and back in the early 1970’s he could be seen both in a tv series and a couple of big screen’s features. Now, Redding has decided – God knows why – that this is a good moment to update the character with a new version. The screenplay is already written so we will see in CMP a character that has been considered by some critics as an inspiration for Mulder and Scully.

I recently announced that CMP had a new screenwriter on board: Matthew Connor. CMP already has a Connor in its writing team – Steve Connors -, so to avoid any possible confusion with Connors (Steve), Connor (Matthew) has generously accepted to change his public name and he will sign his screenplays as ‘Matthew Lee’.
